Penni McLaren Walker With Bryan Causton

In April 2004 Penni walked into a folk club in Cambridge and met Bryan again after a gap of many years. Instead of catching up with the past, Penni just smiled and said "would you like to join me on stage in ten minutes....the first song is in A minor". This immediate and baptismal performance was the start of a new musical path. They did catch up later tho'.

There followed a realisation that they shared many of the same musical tastes, ideas and influences and that when playing together their styles were not only complementary, but created a new and unique synergy.

Their performances take the audience on a journey that encompasses a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with songs, tunes and their own brand of musical adventure. Their style is very much in the 'new tradition' with superb energy and musical dynamic.
